Chapter 13

Tunnel/Jacobs: Children’s Literature Briefly

This chapter explained in great detail the different types of biographies. It also described that the bibliography content can be juvenile, fictionalized, or authentic. Because biographies do detail a person's life, they must be factual. However, because the author is only human, they cannot help but to have some kind of input and/or biase on the story or person they write about. The reader must keep in mind that they should read (other) more biographies in order to get a clearer idea of what's true/real.
